Weeks are from July 22nd to July 27th, 2019 and July 27th to August 3rd, 2019. It is an evolutive program and can not be start in a middle of a week.
9.00 – 10.30, Vinyasa Yoga practice and Pranayama
10.30 – 11.00, Break
11.00 – 13.00, Asana Clinic
13.00 – 14.00, Break
14.00 – 15.30, Yoga Thaï Massage
15.30 – 17.00, Yin Yoga
It is 6h30 / day. 39 hours/week
Total = 78 Hours for two weeks
DESCRIPTION INTENSIVE YOGA WORKSHOP
This workshop has been designed for yoga practitioner, yoga teacher, people with a good understanding of movement having a regular practice in yoga or in any other physical activity. We will see in detail the practice and the adjustment of the following asanas :
Parshvakonasana A, B, Trikonasana A, B, Virabhadrasana Series, Ardha Chandrasana, Prasarita Padotanasana Series, Uttitha Hasta Padanghustasana, Vasistasana, Vishwamitrasana, Tryanga Muka Eka Pada Paschimotanasana, Parighasana, Arda Badda Pada Padma Paschimotanasana, Janu Shirshasana series, Marichyasana series, Surya Yantrasana, Kurmasana, Supta Kurmasana, Urdhva Kurmasana, Bhujapidasana, Titibasana, Padma Mayurasana, Bhujangasana, Shalabasana, Akarna Dhanurasana, Ustrasana, Urdhva Dhanurasana, Laghu Vajrasana, Bekasana, Parshva Dhanurasana, Chakrasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Karnapidasana, Urdhva Padmasana, Pindasana, Matsyasana, Uttana Padasana, Shirshasana.
Yoga Thaï Massage will be practiced for the upper and lower part of the body.
It will be helpful to understand how to move a muscle, a bone, how to safely touch your student through palpation and manipulation. Understanding the limitation of everyone through the practice.
Adjusting is an art. It has to be done with confidence, in the respect of the body and ethic of yoga.
Understanding the movement first in order to translate it through the hands is the only way to practice it.
Once the body has understood how to move, it becomes easier to give proper adjustment using the breathing and body as a tool.
There is no “universal” adjustment has everyone is different, the adjustment has to be done on an individual basis.
Bring a yoga belt, one brick and one golf ball or tennis ball for the practice.
Please note this workshop does not give you the qualification for teaching yoga, yin yoga or yoga Thaï Massage.
It is an overview.
At the end of the course a Certificate will be given to the student. If you are already registered with Yoga Alliance as a RYT or E-RYT, you will be able to validate it as YACEP, Yoga Education Continuing.
This course can also be the opportunity for you to deepen your practice and an approach to a future yoga course you would like to attend.
A manual will be given to student.
